J.M Weston shoes are crafted at a single factory in Limoges. They are the only shoemaker with its own sole leather tannery, the manufacturer takes time to do its job at the heart of the Tannerie Bastin in Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat.

Each pair takes two months to produce a pair of shoes and over 150 procedures are required for each model. By using traditional techniques such as the Norwegian welt technique and distinctive shape and fine-stitch seam for the shoe, J.M. Weston made the choice to preserve an exceptional know-how that has remained unchanged, each pair a symbol of French heritage.⁠
